Payments and Refund

Payments


We can accept the following forms of payment;

  • Cash (Please bring exact change)
  • Credit / Debit Cards (please note there is an additional charge of £5.00 when using a American Express Card)
  • Mobile Payments (Apple/Google Pay etc.)
  • BACS - Following an invoice from us


Payment is due in full at the start of the appointment.


Prices may vary depending on the size, breed, coat condition and temperament of your dog. Any additional charges will be discussed with you before services are carried out.


Please note that where a deposit is required to secure your booking, they are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment, if canceled before this you will be refunded minus a 10% admin fee.


Cancellations and No-Shows


Please give at least 24 hours notice before the start of your appointment time for cancellations or rescheduling.


Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a late cancellation fee which is 10% of the appointment price. 


No shows will be charged 100% of the appointment price. You may be required to pre-pay for any future bookings. 


If due to extreme weather conditions, determined by ourselves, we are unable to provide your dogs groom we will rearrange your appointment, please note this can be done at any time leading up to the start and end of your appointment.


If for any reason we have to cancel your appointment for personal or staffing reasons, we will reschedule your appointment and you will be offered a 10% discount for that appointment. 


Refunds


Please note that due to the nature of our services we do not offer a refund once services have been carried out and completed, please be aware where a dog is uncooperative and we are unable to complete the groom or the outcome of the grooming is affected, where we have completed the service to the best of our ability, a refund will not be granted.


If you are not satisfied with the results, please let us know when you collect your dog and we will do our best to address or correct any reasonable concerns. Once you leave with your dog and accepted the outcome of the groom, a refund will not be granted. 

*Please note that if your dog has been groomed whilst attending Paws 4 Thought daycare, there is a grace period of 24 hours from the time of drop off to raise any concerns regarding our services. 


Paws 4 Thought Customers


Please note when a groom is to take place when your dog is at day care with Paws 4 Though, if your dog is no longer attending day care, please let us know a minimum of 24 hours before the day they were supposed to attend. We will try and accommodate you later in the week but please note you may still be charged for your appointment.
